This is an app that duplicates pages in a one-page PDF file. If you want the PDF to have three pages of the same as the original file, this app can help you with that. This can be useful when doing automated impositions, for example, business cards. In that case the customer usually wants different amounts of cards. If they then provide you with an Excel file (or other data formats) one of the columns in the Excel sheet can have a multiple of the number of cards for the different persons. This value can be entered as a variable in this app and each file of business cards will have a multiple of pages of the number of cards to print.
When the imposition is made you get a sheet where some cards are placed three times, other two times and some just once and so on.
The app only allows one-page PDF files to be processed, if it has more than one page it ends up in the error connection. Non PDF-files ends up in the Problem jobs folder.
For some Mac OSX installations there is a special PDFToolkit installation that works. Download it here...
Nice little app that makes one or more copies of each page in a pdf, which is very useful for us.
Flaky. Sometimes failed to duplicate with Java errors.
Ending up using a Pitstop Action instead
It is so good. Before using Duplicate pages, I used the impostrip for make that job. Duplicate pages simplify my flows. Very good!
The app does what it has to do. Too bad it only handles single pages document, therefore it is not usefull for me.
Don't forget to install pdftk server as stated in the overview.
Unable to duplicate PDF with more than one page
