The apps, Send to Switch and Receive from Switch, can be used to transfer files from one Switch Server to another in an easy and reliable way. This transfer also works within the same Switch Server by just using the default values.
Send to Switch can have multiple incoming connections and optional traffic-light outgoing connections. The success condition exists when server B confirms having received the file. The error condition occurs when it was not possible to send the file or when the acknowledgment times out.
Works like a charm! Easy to configure too. We only use it on internal http communication but it sure beats hotfolder processing.
Switch2Switch saves us time and simplifies our flows!
it is working very nice if you have more swtich licenses and you want to share files between them. It is also nice to make a bit of load balance with it, because you can check if the other switch is available.
