PRISMAproduction is Canon´s own developed integrated and scalable, high-performance workflow and production print output platform. It automates and integrates data input and conversion, prepress and output management in a single platform, in order to elevate your level of workflow efficiency. It supports Canon and multivendor web-fed and sheetfed mid- to high-volume print environments with the most demanding and sophisticated operations.

About the PRISMAproduction app bundle

The PRISMAproduction app bundle will allow users of Enfocus Switch to easily route their production jobs to PRISMAproduction. All apps can create dynamic decisions and/or settings based on JMF responses from the connected PRISMAproduction server(s).

The PRISMAproduction app bundle consists of the following three apps:

PRISMAproduction submit app
Create and submit JDF via JMF to PRISMAproduction or generate native OCT tickets for integration with traditional PRISMAproduction hot folder input channels.

PRISMAproduction status app
Use JMF communication to monitor the status of submitted print jobs as well as of print devices controlled by PRISMAproduction.

PRISMAproduction resources app
Retrieve PRISMAproduction server capabilities to enable Enfocus Switch users to work with a list of available settings when creating automated print jobs, for example the media catalog.
