StringWizard is the evolution of the widely used Filename Cleaner (Pro). Completely rewritten in NodeJS, it offers a much more robust character-capturing algorithm, as well as many new features. Therefore, we suggest that you switch to using StringWizard rather than Filename Cleaner (Pro).
StringWizard can detect and transform more than 1400 diacritics, making it the most comprehensive app on the market!
StringWizard offers the power to alter text, such as job names, private data, dataset (new!) or any text that uses variables.
It enables functions like case conversion, character substitution (including spaces, diacritics, ligatures, trademarks, and restricted characters), and string truncation.
As a result, it facilitates the creation of web-friendly, cross-platform compatible, or customized strings, depending on the requirement.
StringWizard is also particularly useful to clean a text-based file, such as XML, XMP, JDF, JSON or TXT, especially in combination with the custom conversion table (new!).
For example, StringWizard can modify an incoming XML file from one system to make an outgoing XML file suitable for another system (which requires some changes).
StringWizard offers a variety of ways to modify strings:
The result of the string conversion can be used to rename the incoming job, or can be stored as private data.
If the input is a dataset, the output can be the cleaned input dataset (replacing the original one) or a new dataset attached to the job.
Très utile, simple et efficace cette App ! Merci au développeur (et à Steph pour le tuyau) ;-)
Awesome and nice App ;-) The ability of cleaning a PrivateData Set is a good deal !
A good feature for a future release could be the ability by using its own Reserved character Table ;-)
Thanks Guys, U rock !
