This app uses the AWS CLI to watch an S3 bucket for new files. Once it finds a file, it downloads it and optionally removes the original from the S3 bucket. You also may choose to watch an entire S3 bucket or a sub-folder (key prefix) within one. The goal of this app is to be a drop-in replacement for the FTP receive element.
It was hard to get this plug-in to work.
With AWS version 1.6.9 and the assignment (CLI Path Prefix) to the aws.exe, it worked finally.
App does not work..
I was not able to get this to work, it appears it is not able to communicate with the AWS CLI on my local machine. I ended up moving to FTP for this application because we did not have time to wait for the developer of the app to fix it, but it would be nice if it could work in the future. The company I bought the software from (X-change) tried to get it working and had the same problem I did and recommended reaching out to the developer, just didn't have time to do that.
