New Features in Phoenix 24.11

Wide Format Waste Dividers

A new waste divider mark type helps digital cutting table operators efficiently dispose of leftover board waste. Users can control the placement of divider lines with orientation, spacing, and offset options, and even add optional nicks to keep waste areas loosely held together.

Fotoba Marks

Phoenix 24.11 introduces support for Fotoba cutting devices, with fully customizable marks that control direction, distance, thickness, and spacing to fit different Fotoba models.

New Features in Griffin 24.11

Waste Dividers

Like Phoenix, Griffin 24.11 has added waste divider marks to help digital cutting table operators manage board waste. The feature can be fully automated via Griffin Auto’s REST API, making integration of waste management into automated workflows easier than ever.

Fotoba Marks

Wide format customers can now benefit from the introduction of Fotoba marks for vertical and horizontal bars needed to operate Fotoba cutting devices. Users can customize the settings and automate the process via the REST API.

Shape Marks

Griffin 24.11 introduces a new shape mark feature, allowing users to add circles and ellipses to their layouts. This is particularly useful for placing camera marks in precise locations during production.

Performance Improvements

Griffin has seen significant performance improvements, including faster and more stable operations. Enhanced PDF rendering has been added for more accurate output, and new controls for grommet mark placement provide greater flexibility.

Additional Improvements

Phoenix 24.11 and Griffin 24.11 both include many under-the-hood enhancements to improve overall stability and performance. The introduction of new REST API capabilities has further expanded automation possibilities, allowing users to integrate these updates into their existing workflows with ease.
