The digital dialog
Dave Hultin, Marketing Ideas For Printers
Think back to a time before the Internet. Print buyers ordered printing face-to-face over a front counter or voice-to-voice over a phone. That still happens, but today's print buyers order printing from your website, too! You only get one chance to make a first impression. That's why your website and online workflow must support a clear and consistent digital dialog. Your digital dialog shouldn't be too geeky. Instead, it should be friendly ... just like the face-to-face conversations you had before the Internet.
What you'll learn
- Why the pre-Internet dialog model is still a good model
- How establishing trust online helps sell more printing
- How to... and WHY you need to de-geek your digital dialog
- The BEST digital dialog conversation starter
Who should attend this session?
- Printshop owners
- Printshop sales reps
- Printshop employees in communication with print buyers
About Dave Hultin
Dave Hultin was trained as a music educator. During the desktop publishing revolution of the 1980s, he learned that his true passion was not music education, but instead lay in the fast-paced world of quick printing. Dave's printing career started at Express Press, an award-winning print shop in Fargo, North Dakota. His "in the trenches" experiences at Express Press put Dave on the path to Marketing Ideas For Printers, a company that puts marketing and technology expertise within the reach of small and mid-sized commercial printers.
